City Horse Riders outshine competitors in State & National Level Equestrian Championships!

10 students of Equine Dreams, a leading horse-riding school in Coimbatore participated in a state-level and national-level Equestrian Championships and bagged 80% of all the prizes, said Sakthi Balaji, CEO of Equine Dreams on Wednesday.


Sakthi Balaji chaired a press conference on Wednesday at Alexander Equestrian Club in Nava India to share the recent accomplishments of the school.


He conveyed that the State-level Equestrian Championship was organized by Chennai Equestrian Club, and the National-level Equestrian Championship was organized by Red Earth Riding School in Auroville.


The students of the school, Hasini, Arjun, Nithin, Dhaya, Manoj, Bharath, Shivakumar, Narthanya, Adhidev and Achala competed in various categories such as Showjumping, Open Category and Dressage and won the medals.


One student named Hasini has successfully qualified to compete at the2024 Junior National Equestrian Championship, and she is training rigorously for the 2030 Youth Olympics set to be held in Thailand.


Sakthi Balaji said Equine Dreams in the first horse-riding school to be launched in Coimbatore in 2014, and it has trained hundreds of students and many of them have won state and national level honors.


“We have 6 imported horses and 7 indigenous horses. In total we have 30+ horses here. 80+ students are getting trained at present. They are guided by a team of coaches under Chief Coach Indian Equestrian Olympian Imtiaz Anees and Senior Coach Balamurugan,” he said.
