Nanda Engineering College launches 'Manitham' Students Movement to create awareness about new voters.


Today, India has the largest youth population in the world. With this in mind, the campaign was launched to encourage new voters, the students, who will be voting for the first time in the upcoming "election festival" of Parliament.


The students of Nanda Engineering College have been conducting this campaign in the constituent colleges of Nanda Educational Institutions for the past few days under the aegis of his "Manitham" social movement.


V. Shanmugan, Chairman of Shri Nanda Educational Trust was seen holding a banner of new voters for students to take pledge. He was the first to sign and inaugurate it and Secretary of Sri Nanda Educational Trust. Thiru. S. Nandakumar Pradeep, Secretary of Nanda Educational Institutions Shri. S. Tirumurthy, Chief Education Officer Shri. S. Arumugam also signed.


Following this. Students of constituent colleges of Nanda Educational Institutions enthusiastically signed the banner of the new voters. At that time, they took a pledge that our votes will be cast in the coming parliamentary elections to show the Indian tradition.


More than 10,000 students of constituent colleges of Nanda Educational Institutions signed the banner and took the pledge.


Members of Nanda Educational Institutions congratulated the college principals, administrative officers and engineering college students of "Manitham" Social Movement for their excellent arrangements for the campaign.
