Pushkaram college of agriculture sciences , Thiruvarangulam,Pudukkottai district, has started the classes for first year students of 2024-2025 . We invited the first year students with the orientation programme on 09.08.2024 (Friday).
The chairman of college Lion.Dr.K. Rethinam , Managing director of college Dr.R.Durai, Principal Dr.S. Raguraman inaugurated the programme. Mr. Sigaram Sathishkumar, Dr. K.Arumugam professor of (Agronomy), Mr.K. Sathasivam director of child welfare committee, Pudukkottai, Plant doctor Mr.K. Bharathidasan and Superintendent of police Mr.S.Velusami consented to give their gracious and delivered the orientation. They addressed that, if the tools of modern age are used thoroughly and properly, it will pave way for a great success in the near future. Apart from the studies students should also know what is happening in the outside world. They also encouraged the students to prepare themselves for any situation and spoke about the uniqueness of agriculture and the importance of agriculture course B.sc (hons).
Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by the vice principal of the college ,Dr.V.Shanthi. Secretary of college Mr.M.Rajaram organized the event very well. According to the Tamil Nadu agricultural university announcement first year online classes has started from 12.08.2024 will continue till 13.09.2024.
