Annai Fatima College of Arts and Science, located in Thirumangalam, Madurai district, successfully hosted a two-day talent identification competitions for its first-year students. The event aimed to explore and nurture the diverse abilities of the students.
Dr. Abdul Kadir, the college principal, inaugurated the event. In his address, he emphasized the importance of such competitions in helping students discover their hidden potential. He encouraged all students to participate actively, bring out their hidden talents and develop their unique skills.
The competition featured a wide range of activities, including short film making, web designing, software development, making art from waste and games like Chess, carrom, cricket, kabaddi, cultural Activities like Fashion show, as you like it and a treasure hunt.
Over 300 students enthusiastically participated in the event, showcasing their talents across various domains. The winners, including the girls Bhagya, Gayathri, Kaliswari, Vinsidevi, Lakshmi Priya, Bhima, Rupa Gauri, Bhavatara Varshini, Meenakshi, Srimati, Rajalakshmi, Vaishnavi, Keerthika, Kasthuri, Swathi, Aishwarya, Sushmita, Premdarshini, Mahabharshi and the boys Kumar, Santosh, Arvind, Jagadish, Gokulraj, Ashok Kumar, Jeevanandham, Mukilan, Dinesh Kumar, Sasidharan, Jagan, Kondalraj Muthupandi, Rajkumar, Taufiq Ahmed, Vikram, Vedtian, Manikandaprabu, Vishwaraj, Mayan Tamilarasan, Gautham, Manoj, Vetrivel, Akash, Naheem, Aslin Jagan, Gautham, Mohan and Charan Raj were awarded prizes for their outstanding performances.
The event was organized by a team of professors led by Professor Karthika, Head of the Computer Science Department. The judges panel included the Director of Management Studies Mr. Natesan Pandiyan and the head of the department of business administration Dr. Karthika. 3rd year desi computer science student miss Bhatia did the master of ceremony. Prof. Ramanathan proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the event.
