First Year Classes Opening Ceremony at Nanda College of Technology

The inauguration of the first year classes of Nanda College of Technology was held on 6th September. 


Former Superintendent of Police Dr. A. Kaliamoorthy was the chief guest and Mrs. Bhanumathi Shanmugan, Member of Sri Nanda Educational Trust inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp


Sri Nanda Educational Trust Chairman V. Shanmugan presided over the function and said, "From the Ballpin to the missile, everything we need has been created by the best engineers and technicians. This is evidenced by the fact that no atom can move without engineering.


It is noteworthy that they have studied in such engineering fields and are working in many multinational companies of the world with high salaries. Like them, I wish all the students to dedicate themselves fully and identify themselves as a good engineer and progress in life.


Earlier, the Principal of the College, Dr. S. Nandagopal welcomed the first year students and their parents. He also introduced the HOD  of various departments to the students 


Sri Nanda Educational Trust Secretary S. Nandakumar Pradeep, Nanda Educational Institutions Secretary S. Tirumurthy, Chief Educational Officer Dr. S. Arumugam, Nanda Technology Complex Administrative Officer A.K. Velusamy welcomed and congratulated the first year students. 


Former Superintendent of Police Dr. A. Kaliamoorthy delivered the keynote address. In his speech, he said that the parents who wake up early in the morning and engage themselves in agriculture, official jobs, self-employment etc., have enrolled their children to study through this college with a big dream with the intention of achieving in the fields of engineering and technology.


Keeping this in mind, students should avoid using social media during these four years of study. He explained to the students that it is very easy to achieve success in the field of engineering and technology by engaging oneself in learning without distractions.


He also urged the parents to have frank discussions with their children and work towards developing their talents and values.


At the end of the function, the first year HOD Nanda College of Technology Mr  Vijayakumar ended with a vote of thanks
