Honoring the Sheroes of Tamil Nadu!

Women are those invisible pillars of support whose voices often go unheard and accomplishments unrecognized.

 

To let the world know their worth was born the organization We Wonder Women. Established in 2018, its sole purpose is to commend those women who have made heads turn around in society through their sheer hard work in various fields.

US Presidential candidate Kamala Harris once said, “What I want young women and girls to know is: You are powerful and your voice matters.” 

As We Wonder Women enters into its 7th edition on 6th September 2024, a total of 25 strong women will be honored nominated under the categories- LifeTime Achievement Award, Star iCon Award, iCon Award and Year Award. 

The award winners of this year are LR. Easwari- LifeTime Lengendry in Singing. Ms.Bina Sujit, Entepreneur- Co-founder, JFW. Ms.Yagna Prabha- Animal Welfare Activist. Ms.Sangeetha- Celebrity Stylist. Ms.Divya Swapna Raj- Change Maker & Business Coach.

 

Ms.Rakhi Kappor- Life Transforming Author. Ms.Ramya Subramanian, Television Host & Health Coach. Ms.Mrithika Santhoshini, Co- Director & Lyricist. Ms.Dorothy, Educationalist. Ms.Sathya Krishnaswanmy, Animal Welfare Activist.

Ms.Sharanya Rajendran, Agriculture- Organic Farming. Ms.Nivetha Jessica Adventure- Professional Motorcycle Racer. Ms.Reshma Nilofer Visalakshi, India's First Marine Pilot. Ms.Manonmani, Musician- Sarangi Artist. Mrs.Meenakshi Umesh, Education- Puvidham-An Echo School.

These women have shown how willingness and determination can soar you high like a bird and that each women has a hidden talent and purpose towards life. Their achievements have sent a message loud and clear that women are equally capable of achieving and deserve a center seat in society.

The Managing Trustee and Trustee of We wonder woman is Mrs. Subitha Justin and Ms. Shanmugapriya respectively. The venue for the event was Anna Centenary Library Auditorium, Chennai.
