Kalasalingam University receives "Disability Education Service" Award!

The STPI , Cognizant Technology, Young Indians, Start-Up TN, and Karpagam University jointly organized the "IMPAIRATHON and ATA Expo-2024" in Coimbatore, showcasing new inventions, projects, and modern tools for  disabilities.  The Collector, Honourable Kranthi Kumar, inaugurated the exhibition and praised the organizations providing services in employment, education, and self-employment for people with disabilities.


Kalasalingam University  received the "Disability Education Service" award for its 17-years commitment to promoting equal opportunities and empowering people with disabilities. The academy was recognized for offering B. Tech programs for  speech and hearing-impaired students and also providing computer training for visually impaired students. The Collector presented the award in recognition of the academy's exceptional efforts in disability education. 


Dr. K. Karthigadevi, HoD, Speech and Hearing-impaired program, Kalasalingam University, received the award. 


The Chancellor Dr. K. Sridharan, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Arivazhagi Sridharan, Vice President Dr. S. Shasi Anand, Vice-Chancellor Dr. S. Narayanan and Registrar Dr. V. Vasudevan praised the faculties and the students.
