Recipe: Mini Shabbir slider

Business MInutes

Mini Shabbir Sliders are a fusion of classic Indian flavors packed into a convenient and satisfying snack. With a combination of soft pav, spicy dal paste, fluffy omelet, and fresh veggies, these sliders are perfect for a quick bite or a party appetizer.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of fresh Modern Wow Pav
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cooked dal (preferably thick, spiced, and cooled)
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions:

· Begin by breaking two eggs into a bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, and whisk until it is mixed well. Heat a small amount of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan, spreading them out evenly to form a thin omelette. Cook until the omelette is fully set, flipping once to ensure even cooking on both sides.

· Take the fresh Modern Wow Pav and carefully slice each one in half horizontally. The pav is soft and fluffy and will provide the perfect vessel for the fillings.

· Next, take the cooked and cooled dal and spread a generous layer of the paste on the cut side of each pav half.

· Now, place the cooked omelette over the dal layer on the bottom half of the pav. You can fold or cut the omelet to fit the size of the pav. On top of the omelet, add a few slices of fresh tomato and onion.

· Sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala and red chili powder over the tomato and onion slices. This gives the slider an extra kick of flavor. Next, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the inside of the top half of the pav.

· Now, close the pav to complete the slider. The top half should sit snugly over the fillings, creating a compact and tasty sandwich. Serve the Mini Shabbir Sliders immediately, while the omelette is warm, and before the pav gets soggy. These sliders are best enjoyed fresh.
