Samsung India yesterday announced the launch of its most advanced AI-powered smartphone lineup, the Galaxy S26 series, with pre-orders now open across the country. The new range includes the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26, offering an intuitive Agentic AI experience designed to help users manage tasks, capture content and access information effortlessly. The devices integrate performance, camera innovation and Galaxy AI to deliver a seamless and secure mobile experience.
At the forefront is the Galaxy S26 Ultra, featuring the industry’s first built-in Privacy Display for smartphones, reinforcing user privacy at a pixel level. Powered by the customised Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, the device delivers significant improvements in CPU, GPU and NPU performance to support faster on-device AI processing. Enhanced thermal management with a redesigned vapor chamber ensures sustained performance, while Super-Fast Charging 3.0 enables up to 75% charge in 30 minutes.
The Galaxy S26 series also introduces Samsung’s most advanced camera system yet, with improved low-light photography, enhanced Nightography Video and upgraded AI editing tools. Features such as Photo Assist, Creative Studio and AI-powered Document Scanner simplify content creation and editing. Integrated AI agents including Bixby, Gemini and Perplexity enable seamless multitasking through voice or single-button commands.
Strengthening security in the AI era, the series incorporates Privacy Display, AI-powered Call Screening, Private Album and post-quantum cryptography enhancements through Knox Matrix. Samsung has committed to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
The Galaxy S26 series will be manufactured at Samsung’s Noida factory. Prices start at INR 87,999, with attractive pre-order benefits including storage upgrades, cashback offers and no-cost EMI options.
