Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is conducting field visits in each district, participating in government functions, and distributing welfare assistance to beneficiaries. He is also meeting party officials to discuss party development. Accordingly, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will be on a two-day visit to Erode district on the 19th and 20th. On the 19th (Thursday), the Chief Minister will arrive in Coimbatore by flight from Chennai at around 10 AM and then travel by road to Erode, where he will be welcomed at more than 20 locations. Later, at 1 PM, the Chief Minister will take a short rest at the Erode Guest House. In the evening, at around 5 PM, he will participate and speak at a DMK officials' meeting held at Thangam Mahal in the Mattukadai area. At around 6 PM, he will attend the wedding reception of DMK Policy Propagation Joint Secretary Chandrakumar. He will stay overnight at the Erode Guest House.
On the 20th (Friday), at 10 AM, the Chief Minister will participate in a government function at the new bus stand in Erode Solar. He will inaugurate completed development projects and lay the foundation for new development projects. The Chief Minister will inaugurate various facilities, including multi-storey residential buildings and commercial complexes built by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board at Surampatti Four Road, a new commercial complex at the Erode bus stand, an expanded four-lane ring road, an additional warehouse at Vairapalayam, and a purification plant at Chennimalai. He will also initiate the construction of a wholesale market complex for vegetables, fruits, and groceries at Solar, costing Rs. 18.48 crore. Additionally, he will distribute welfare assistance to around 50,000 beneficiaries from various departments.
In preparation for the Chief Minister's visit, Minister Muthusamy and District Collector Rajagopal Sunkara are leading the arrangements for the event.
