The K. Adinarayanan-Chandra Leela Memorial Library, operating within the premises of the Thoranamalai Murugan Temple, invites students preparing for NEET and other competitive exams to utilize its extensive collection of resources.
Located on the Tenkasi-Kadayam road, the Thoranamalai Sri Murugan Temple is not only a center for spiritual activities but also a hub for various welfare initiatives. As part of these efforts, the temple has established a library to support rural students' intellectual growth and help them excel in competitive exams.
The library boasts a collection of over 3,400 books, including materials for competitive exams, engineering, and NEET preparation. It also houses school and college textbooks, general knowledge books, storybooks, literary works, Thirukkural, and works on science and medicine. Additionally, daily newspapers in Tamil and English are available.
For students' convenience, the temple administration has provided internet facilities and arrangements for lodging, including three meals a day.
Furthermore, the temple complex features a physical training ground equipped for activities such as rope climbing and long jumping, aiding students preparing for police and military recruitment exams. Rural students can also stay on the premises to practice early morning physical drills.
The temple's hereditary trustee, Mr. Senbagaraman, has urged students from rural areas to take advantage of this opportunity to excel in academics, prepare for competitive exams, and secure government jobs.
