Lady Doak College celebrated its 76th Annual Sports Day on February 14, 2025. The Principal and Secretary, Dr. Beulah Jeyashree R. welcomed the Chief Guests of the day, the Olympian and Arjuna Awardee Mr. R. Chandrasekaran, and Mr. C. Karthikeyan, District Inspector of Physical Education, Sivagangai.
The Chief Guest hoisted the flag. The ceremonial torch was lit by Dr. Beulah Jeyashree and taken up by Ms. J. Jerlin Anika, Ms. C. Janice Stella, Ms. M. Guna Sri, Ms. T. Oviya, Ms. D. Sai Samyuktha and Ms. U. Amulya Eshwari, escorted by student-motorbikers, and cheered on by the crowd.
For March Past, The Department of Business Administration bagged First Place, Second Place went to PG and Research Department of English (Aided), Third Place to Department of English (SF), Fourth Place to Commerce (SF), and Fifth Place to the Department of Information Technology.
The overall Intramural Championship Trophy went to the Department of Commerce (SF) and the Individual Championship Trophy to Ms. S. Ishwarya. The Annual Sports Day organised by Directors of Physical Education, Major T. Shantha Meena and Dr. M. Hemalatha was a huge success.
