The Sports Day celebration was held at Baba Ameer Badusha Matriculation School in Tiruppattur, Sivagangai district. The event took place on the school premises, with school correspondent Baba Ameer Badusha presiding over the function. District Chess Association Coordinator J. Prakash Manimaran and Parent-Teacher Association President S. Jayalalitha were also present.
The event commenced with the Tamil Thaai Vazhthu (Tamil anthem). Special guest, Deputy Superintendent of Police P. Kalaikathiravan, hoisted the national and school flags, officially inaugurating the event. He later awarded medals and certificates to the winning students and delivered a keynote speech on the theme "The Upbringing of Children is in the Hands of Parents."
The celebration featured various performances, including physical exercises, Silambam (traditional martial art), pot-breaking, and pyramid formations by students. Competitions were also organized for parents and teachers, with prizes distributed to the winners.
Earlier, School Principal Varadharajan welcomed the gathering, and Physical Education Teacher Silambarasan presented the annual report. Silambam and Karate instructors Vijayaragavan and Deepa, along with parents and teachers, participated in the event.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks by teacher Sandhana Lakshmi.
