Once selected, fellows will teach full-time in affordable private schools or English-medium government schools, where they will focus on guiding students through the challenges of India's inequities. The program also provides fellows with invaluable leadership training, focusing on emotional intelligence skills such as empathy, active listening, and relationship-building, which contribute to both personal and professional growth.
To date, over 670 fellows have joined the 2024 Cohort, united by a common goal: to build a more compassionate and equitable India through education. The fact that differentiates the Teach For India Fellowship is the unique opportunity to significantly reshape the education landscape and drive meaningful change.
