Kalasalingam University, Department of Bio Medical Engineering in association with Biomedical Engineering Socity of India, Manipal, organised 4th National level Symposium on  “Collaborative Innovation at the Intersection of Healthcare and Technology,”- MEDVIOS. 2K26.


The Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Narayanan and the Registrar Dr V. Vasudevan felicitated.


Dr N. Rajini delivered Presidential address on skill based Educational System and learning process.


Dr. M. Pallikonda Rajasekaran, Director-R&D and Dr P. Sivakumar, Dean spoke on the collaborated innovations.


Dr. S. Sakthivel, organising Secretary  welcomed all. 


Dr. T. Arun Prasath, HoD, detailed on Symposium. 


The Chief Guest Mr. S. Kumar, Vice-President, TMI systems, Bangaluru, inaugurated the events and released the "Souvenir."


The Chief Guest Dr. Atheena Pandian, M. D, Atheenapandian pvt ltd, Chennai addressed on Health care innovation and severe woes in health care product creations.


Mr Poobathi Sakthivel, Founder & CEO, Prashan Medical Technologies, Coimbatore and  Mr. Venkatesh Raja, Founder&COO, HealTether Healthcare Services pvt ltd felicitated.


300 students from 18 colleges participated. Total  126 research papers received  and  presented.


344 students participated in Poster presentation, Neural connections, Logic reasoning, Quiz, Boobies and ProjectsExpo demonstration.


MoU also signed between KARE with  TMI Systems, Atheena pandian Pvt. ltd and  Prashan Medical Technologies for the collaborative academic and research activities. 


Best paper cash awards and Certificates distributed in the Valedictory function by the chief guest.


Dr. Kalimuthukumar delivered vote of thanks.


BME final year students  Trinita Blessy and  Gokul  coordinated with Industrial Partners, colleges and organised the event excellent.
