TNAU offered training on “Biogas Technology for Sustainable Fuel and Organic Manure”

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) sponsored “Biogas Programme” is functioning at Biogas Development and Training Centre (BDTC), Department of Renewable Energy Engineering, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute (AEC&RI), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. The turnkey workers training programme on “Frontier technologies on biogas based transportation Fuel and Organic Manure” was inaugurated on 13.02.2025 at AEC&RI, Coimbatore. Field visits were arranged for the participants to acquire practical knowledge on biogas plant construction and maintenance aspects.  

On closing note of the training, valedictory function was held on 27.02.2025 at Agricultural Engineering College & Research Institute, TNAU Coimbatore. During the valedictory function, Dr.S.K.Rajkishore, Assistant Professor (Agrl. Env. Sci), Department of the Renewable Energy Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr. S.Kavitha, Professor and Head (Farm Machinery and Power Engineering) summarized the program. Finally, Dr. M.Ammaan, Senior Technical Assistant (BDTC) proposed a formal vote of thanks.
