KDM, the leading lifestyle & mobile accessories brand in India, has been honoured with ‘Zee Bharat Ki Udaan Award’ for Bharat Ka Charger Maha Kumbh initiative by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon'ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, while attending Zee Bharat's program 'Bharat Ki Udaan.'

This recognition reflects KDM’s lasting impact at Maha Kumbh 2025 by setting up 1080 mobile charging points to provide charging support for devotees. These stations, equipped with KDM-T Technology chargers, are estimated to have charged over 23 lakh phones during the 45-day event, helping attendees stay connected with their families.

KDM integrated the Government's vision of divya and digital Maha Kumbh and aligned with Digital India and Maha Kumbh’s spiritual and cultural ethos. It played a big role at Maha Kumbh 2025 to solve a major problem and ensured devotees from rural backgrounds could stay connected with their family and loved ones. It also complemented the efforts of government departments and administration, earning widespread acclaim.

While acknowledging this achievement, N D Mali, Founder of KDM said, “Extremely honoured and privileged to receive the 'Zee Bharat Ki Udaan Award’ from the hands of Shri. Nitin Gadkari ji which is making me feel charged, inspired and motivated to take Bharat Ka Charger campaign ahead. Bharat Ka Charger initiative is an example of innovative thinking and social responsibility. Today, mobile phones are a ‘Device of Growth’, contributing to the nation's economy. This award motivates us to continue our efforts to charge both mobile and the economy with KDM Bharat Ka Charger.

As India embarks on its vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, ‘KDM Bharat Ka Charger’ is contributing towards boosting the economy and empowering Bharat with Make in India. We are also geared up to achieve our vision of “Har Ghar KDM”. By 2030, we aim to reach 10 crore households. Also, we are very much aligned to create direct and indirect employment opportunities for 50,000 women by 2030.”
