CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC) and Birla Institute of Technology & Science exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Academic and Research Collaboration at CSIR-SERC.
The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Dr. N. Anandavalli, Director, CSIR-SERC, Prof. Annapoorna Gopal, Dean, PSD, BITS, Pilani, Smt. R Bharathi, Faculty-WILPD Sciences, Core Engineering Group, BITS, Pilani, Dr. S. Parivallal, Chief Scientist & Advisor(M), Dr. K.Sathish Kumar, Chief Scientist and Head, BKMD, Dr. Mohit Verma, Principal Scientist and Co-ordinator, Dr. M.B.Anoop, Chief Scientist, Dr. (Ing.)Saptarshi Sasmal, Chief Scientist, and Dr S. Vishnu Vardhan, Senior Principal Scientist.
The meeting also focused on initiating internships for BITS Pilani students for the July–Dec 2025 semester. Both expressed interest in establishing a long-term, mutually beneficial collaboration. The proforma, along with the detailed internship requirements, were shared with BITS Pilani to facilitate the student allotment process.
