JCI India celebrated the International Human Duties Day by organising an online global cultural dialogue on the subject of Human Duties. The 24 hours non-stop program called “The Sun Never Sets on JCI” started just as the dates changed to July 10 at 00:01 hours (midnight) and continued upto 24:00 midnight. 29 countries covering all the 24 time zones of the world participated in this program.

JCI members from around the world connected through this program to discuss about the importance of Human Duties. The members discussed what they perceive ‘Human Duties at different stages of life’ to be in different parts of the world. The record-breaking program which was conducted in multiple international languages created a non-stop wave of brainstorming, learning, and commitment to Human Duties. From Russia to Australia to Alaska, the sun quite literally never set on JCI that day.

At the heart of this historic event was the promotion of International Human Duties Day, rooted in the Universal Declaration of Human Duties for Leaders, launched by JCI in 2022. This transformative initiative outlines seven essential responsibilities that every leader and global citizen must uphold to build a more ethical, peaceful, and sustainable world. The theme of the program was “Duties Before Rights”.

Speaking on the occasion, JCI India National President JCI Senator Ankur Jhunjhunwala said: "This is not just a JCI India success — it is a proud moment for the entire JCI movement across the globe. ‘The Sun Never Sets on JCI’ reflects our belief in continuous learning, global unity, and purpose-driven leadership, as also our commitment to Human Duties.”
