The inaugural public conference of the 'Tamizhaga Neethi Katchi' will be held at the Samuga Neethi Thidal, near Vijayamangalam Tollgate in Perundurai, Erode district, on Sunday, July 20, at 4 PM. In anticipation of the event, a ceremonial flagpole installation ceremony was conducted. Over 400 party members and supporters, along with their families, participated in the event, including the party’s founder and president Vazhavanthinadu Mr.K. Saravanan, known as Vazhavanthiyar, and other key office-bearers.
Following this, a party leaders’ consultative meeting was held in Perundurai under the leadership of party founder and president Vazhavanthiyar.
Speaking to the gathering of party administrators, Vazhavanthiyar said: "July 20 is going to be a very important day for all of us. We have been waiting for this auspicious day for many years. The official launch of our party will take place as a grand public conference. Leaders and volunteers from more than 30 different communities are expected to participate in this event. Why was this political party founded? What are its principles and ideologies? — all of this will be clearly announced at the inaugural conference. More than 1 lakh volunteers are expected to participate in our Inaugural function."
“It gives me great pleasure to meet and speak with all of you at this preparatory consultative meeting ahead of the main event,” said Vazhavanthiyar. “Due to the lack of political power, over 400 marginalized caste communities continue to face systemic neglect. Because there is no one from their communities in positions of authority, they remain unaware of critical information — from educational loans to business and agricultural loans, jewel loans, and subsidies. They are also unaware of how to access various government welfare schemes. In this vacuum, communities that appear to be part of the so-called ‘majority’ continue to enjoy these benefits through their political representatives. Political parties today see people like us merely as vote banks — machines that cast votes, nothing more. The Tamizhaga Neethi Katchi (TNK) is being launched to change this very status quo.”
“We definitely need political power,” said Vazhavanthiyar. “For the past 78 years, we have continued to suffer due to the lack of political representation. I myself have faced this discrimination directly, and it is precisely to ensure that our people — those like us — are not subjected to the same injustice any longer, that we are launching this party. Over the years, we have extended support in many ways — in education, employment, temple rights, and more. But whenever we approach the government with rightful demands, we are confined and dismissed under the narrow label of a ‘caste association. Even though lakhs of people stand with us, we receive no recognition or respect. Meanwhile, those with even a small political outfit are treated with respect and find easy access to the government and its systems. That is why we need a political party that can raise our voice loud and clear — a party that truly belongs to us.”
“The voices of the poor and the marginalized are simply not heard by the political leaders in power today,” said Vazhavanthiyar. “All they seem to understand is the politics of votes — nothing beyond that. In such a political climate, we are forced to demonstrate that we hold at least 30,000 votes in a single constituency, just to be taken seriously. Just as only a diamond can cut another diamond, and only a thorn can remove another thorn, we must engage with those in power in the language they understand — political power. That is why I sincerely request all the party administrators gathered here today: whatever you do, do it with complete dedication and commitment.”
“I am not a politician who goes in search of power — I am someone who will compel power to come in search of me,” said Vazhavanthiyar. “I have faced countless challenges in my journey so far. Even during those difficult times, I never bowed before the powers that be. Today, I stand here as a representative of 85 million people. We believe that real politics is not when we chase politics, but when politics is forced to turn toward us.
I have not come here to criticize anyone. I have stepped onto this political stage to do the work that those in power have failed to do. If true social justice had been upheld, there would have been no need for the Tamil Nadu Justice Party to be born.
Our party is the result of the continued denial of political representation to over 400 voiceless communities by ruling parties — those who have held power for decades but never shared it with the oppressed. True social justice means equal access to everything for everyone. ‘69% reservation’ is just a number. Real social justice will be achieved only when we have 100% political representation — only then will every community find its rightful place in society. The 'Tamizhaga Neethi Katchi' will tirelessly work to unite voices for social justice and amplify the call for equal rights for all”.
The meeting was attended by hundreds of party administrators, including Party's State Secretary Mr.Baskaran, Party's Financial secretary Mr.Sasi, State Administrators Mr.Kavunthi Mani, Ram Karthi, AKN Karthikeyan, Ravikumar, Madhan Maasi, & Party's Erode West Administrators Mr. Madhesh, Naveen Kumar and Murugesh.
