As part of its ‘Citroën India 2.0 – Move to New Experiences’ strategy, Citroën India has launched the all-new Basalt X, featuring CARA, India’s first intelligent in-car companion. This coupe-SUV blends bold design, cutting-edge technology, and enhanced customer experience. CARA, developed in India and designed for global markets, offers contextual awareness, multilingual voice commands, and real-time information updates like weather, flight status, and navigation—all integrated with vehicle systems.
The Basalt X comes equipped with premium features like HALO 360° camera system, ventilated seats, auto-dimming IRVM, Proximity Sense™️ PEPS, cruise control with speed limiter, and full-front LED setup. It also prioritizes safety with 6 airbags, ESP, TPMS, perimetric alarm, and a high-strength steel body (85%). Inside, it features soft-touch leatherette interiors, diffused ambient lighting, and best-in-class rear seat comfort.

Deliveries begin during the upcoming festive season.
