Two-days Mirth-'25 cultural festival was held at Kalasalingam University, Srivilliputhur. The Chancellor Dr. K. Sridharan presided.
Vice-President Dr. S. Shasi Anand inaugurated the event.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. S. Narayanan, Registrar Dr. V. Vasudevan, Director - Student Welfare Dr. S. Balakannan participated and spoke. Special guest "Jo" film fame actress Malavika Manoj participated and interacted for the questions of the students from her experience. A total of 26 types of competitions including dance, singing, beauty contest, quiz, painting, cars and bikes racing show were held.
Singers Anand Aravindakshan and Safiya Music group participated in the valedictory function and provided the melody.
The Chancellor and the Vice President presented trophies and certificates to the School of Electrical and Electronic Communication Engineering, which participated in the competitions and came first, and the School of Biotech, Chemical and Food Processing, which came second, and shields, certificates to the individual winning students.
The function organised excellent by Fine arts clubs - PYROS, Professors T.K .Srilekha, P.Priya, M.M.Sangeetha, K.Vignesh,M.Barath kesavan and students M.Jayavel, B.Shakthi Ganesh, K.Mukilan and students from various Clubs, NSS and NCC.
