JioHotstar Launches ‘Pitch to Get Rich’, India’s First Fashion-Focused Entrepreneurial Reality Show

JioHotstar unveiled ‘Pitch to Get Rich’, India’s first fashion-centric entrepreneurial reality show, at a glittering press event in Mumbai. Bollywood icons Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Malaika Arora launched the show’s trailer, while founders of the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) and Dharmatic Entertainment, along with Sushant Sreeram, SVOD Head and CMO, JioHotstar, were also present. The series, powered by Vimal Elaichi, will stream exclusively on JioHotstar from October 20, featuring a ₹40 crore investment pool for emerging fashion founders.


Speaking at the event, Akshay Kumar said, “Entrepreneurship is about courage, reinvention, and leadership. Pitch to Get Rich celebrates that spirit while providing real opportunities for fashion creators ready to build India’s next global brand.” Karan Johar added, “Fashion is not just glamour; it’s a serious business. The show is where creativity meets commerce, showcasing India’s young designers pitching, hustling, and dreaming big.” Sushant Sreeram highlighted, “This is a platform where fashion, ambition, and enterprise collide, turning viewers into creators and dreamers into doers.”


The event also showcased 14 emerging fashion brands, including Cloud Tailor, House of Armuse, Philocaly, Dmodot, Stylox, and Banana Labs, giving a glimpse of the innovative talent featured on the show. The judging and investor panel includes Bollywood stars alongside prominent entrepreneurs like Naveen Jindal, Dhruv Sharma, Ravi Jaipuria, Darpan Sanghvi, Gaurav Dalmia, Vagish Pathak, Vinod Dugar, and Gautam Singhania. Special appearances by Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Ronnie Screwvala, Diipa Khosla, and Shibani Dandekar further add glamour and industry insight to the series.
