After spiritually enriching kathas in Chitrakoot, Satna, Panchvati, Suribana and Hampi, Pujya Morari Bapu — the revered Ram Katha exponent and spiritual guide — will next arrive at Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu on 1st Nov’25, as part of the ongoing Ram Yatra tracing the divine journey of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram.

Before crossing the ocean to Lanka, Lord Ram installed a Shiva lingam here, worshipping Rameshwar Mahadev for victory and purification. From this shore, he and the vanara sena began building the Ram Setu to reach Lanka.

This historic Ram Yatra is retracing sacred sites associated with Lord Ram’s exile, journey to Lanka, and return to Ayodhya — covering over 8,000 kilometres across India and Sri Lanka in 11 days. A total of 411 devotees are accompanying Bapu on a special 22-coach train from India and abroad. Along the journey, 9 Ram Kathas are being conducted at revered locations across India and Sri Lanka, offering all seekers an opportunity to immerse themselves in the divine narrative of Ram.

At each destination, large pandals have been set up for devotees. The Ram Katha is open to all, allowing people from all walks of life to participate. In keeping with Bapu’s tradition of inclusivity and service, bhandara (free community meals) will be organized at every location, serving meals daily as prasad, ensuring nourishment for both body and spirit.

Morari Bapu, who has been narrating Ram Katha for more than six decades, is delivering soulful discourses at each sacred location — Chitrakoot (MP), Agastya Muni Ashram (Satna), Panchvati (Maharashtra), Sabari Ashram (Suribana, Karnataka), Rishimukh Parvat (Hampi), Parvarshan Parvat (Hampi), Rameshwaram (Tamil Nadu), Colombo (Sri Lanka) and finally Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh).

The Yatra is following a sacred sequence — by train from Chitrakoot to Rameshwaram, and flights thereafter to Colombo and finally Ayodhya. This is Bapu’s second parikrama yatra related to Lord Ram’s vanvaas (exile); the first took place in 2021 from Ayodhya to Chitrakoot and Nandigram.

It is important to note that Bapu does not accept any payment for conducting Katha; the discourses, as well as the meals served, are completely free of charge.

This epic Yatra is being organized by Bapu’s flower (follower) Madan ji Paliwal of Santkripa Sanatana Sansthan. From the travel to the arrangements and the katha reflect the purity and inclusiveness of Sanatana Dharma. Devotees from across the world will accompany Bapu, making this a collective offering of faith and unity.

Rooted in the eternal values of Satya (Truth), Prem (Love), and Karuna (Compassion), the Ram Yatra reaffirms Bapu’s lifelong mission to spread the light of the Ram Charita Manas and strengthen the spiritual fabric of humanity.
