Rozgar Mela 17th Tranche Held in Coimbatore

The Rozgar Mela 17th tranche held at Convention Centre, Sri Krishna Institutions, Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore-641008 on 24.10.2025 at 1100hours. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressed the newly inducted recruits through a special Video Message. 


The recruitments are taking place across Central Government Departments as well as State Governments/UTs supporting this initiative. The new recruits are joining various positions/posts like Senior Manager, Assistant Manager inspector, Junior clerk, Senior clerk, Track Maintainer, Postal Assistant, Postman, Multi tasking staff, Gramin Dak Sevaks etc..


Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon'ble Minister of State for Power, New and Renewable energy, Govt. of India was the Chief Guest for the function at Coimbatore. Smt Vanathi Srinivasan, Hon'ble MLA, Coimbatore South Constituency graced the occasion.  


While addressing the gathering, Smt Vanathi Srinivasan, Hon'ble MLA, Coimbatore South Constituency appraised that through Rozgar Mela initiative more than 10 lakhs employments have been given as promised by the Hon’ble PM of India. She said that the Govt job leads the generation of the family and Govt employees are joining to serve the voiceless and congratulated the newly joined recruits and invited the youth to work for the development of the nation.


Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon'ble Minister of State for Power, New and Renewable energy, Govt. of India expressed his heartfelt pleasure for being a part of this  Rozgar Mela function at Coimbatore. Todays Rozgar Mela is being held at 40 locations across the country and 51,000 appointment letters are being distributed to the newly selected youth all over India. He added that, the Rozgar Mela initiative symbolises the success of the transparent, technology driven and mission mode recruitment being carried out across the ministries and Departments of India by Government of India. 


The Rozgar Mela initiative offers meaningful opportunity for young Indians to serve the nation and contribute to realise the dreams of Vikshit Bharat 2047. The Chief Guest urged the recruits to work with integrity, compassion, dedication and to serve the voiceless. He concluded with the message to the new recruits, to be proud to play a role in improving the citizen services and to pave a way for the development of the Nation. The newly inducted appointees will also get an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online portal where 3000 plus learning aids are available to equip themselves and requested the candidates to utilise the opportunity.


51 newly recruited candidates of the Department of Posts(12) , Ministry of Home affairs(1), Bank(6) and Ministry of Railways(32) were handed over their letters of appointment in the event by the Chief Guest.
