AI Enables Learning Beyond Age, Emphasizes Prof. Abdul Kadir

A special seminar on “Artificial Intelligence and the Modern World” was organized by Madurai unit of Tamilnadu Retired College Teacher's Association (TANRECTA).


The seminar was presided by Prof. Gunavathi, Vice-president, inaugurated by Prof. Periyathambi, the Secretary and welcomed by Prof. Anandan, Joint Secretary of the Association.


Dr. M. Abdul Kadir, former Principal of Wakf Board College delivered the keynote address. In his inspiring talk, Dr. Kadir emphasized that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has opened new opportunities for learning at any stage of life. 


He said, “AI technology helps us continue learning regardless of age. From wherever we are, we can now explore a wide range of information, create images and videos, and gain knowledge about current global developments. The best part is — no prior computer training or technical expertise is required to benefit from AI.”


He further added that AI enhances curiosity and enables continuous learning by making access to the latest information easier and more creative.


Over 200 retired college professors including Prof. B. Parthasarathi, a veteran unionist and Vice-president of AIFRUCTO, Prof. Manokaran, State General Secretary of TANRECTA, former professors Shahul Hameed, Anarkali, Rajendran, Arvind, Baskar, Ramachandra Mohan, Chandran Gayathri have participated in the event.


At the end of the seminar, Dr. Abdul Kadir answered several insightful questions from the audience in detail.
