The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, yesterday officially launched "SATHEE Kendras" in the Erode district. The event, held on December 15, marked a significant milestone with the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between IIT Kanpur and five prominent local schools to establish structured learning centers.

The initiative addresses the need for high-quality, accessible coaching for competitive exams. In a formal ceremony, MoUs were exchanged between IIT Kanpur and the leadership of five partner schools, solidifying their commitment to hosting SATHEE Kendras. These Kendras will provide students with a supportive environment to access SATHEE’s resources.

In addition to JEE and NEET, the platform now offers multilingual content and preparation resources for SSC, RRB, IBPS, and ICAR examinations, ensuring a wider range of career opportunities for students.

The launch featured addresses by dignitaries and school representatives, emphasizing the transformative potential of digital education in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
