Students Set 108-Minute Skating Record in Tenkasi

On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day, a record event of continuous skating for 108 minutes was organized by Weston Carts Academy at Pavoorchatram in Tenkasi district. More than 35 school students participated and created a record by skating continuously for 108 minutes while holding the National Flag. A large number of parents and students witnessed the event and appreciated the achievement.


At the prize distribution ceremony that followed, coach Ganesh presided over the event. Keezhapavoor Union Chairman C. Kaveri Seenithurai participated and congratulated the students who achieved the record by presenting them with certificates and medals. The event was attended by Dr. Rajasekar, former Army personnel Krishnan, government contractor Vijayan, advocate Thangamurugan, Karate Rajendran, along with students and parents. At the conclusion, Kalai Mathi Ganesh, Principal of Pavoorchatram Western Carts Indian Academy, delivered the vote of thanks.
