Novatr has released its Civil Engineering Career Success Report (2024–2025) highlighting strong career growth for civil engineers driven by BIM (Building Information Modelling) and digital project workflows. According to the report, the growing scale of infrastructure and transportation projects in India is pushing civil engineers to move beyond traditional site roles into planning, coordination, and digital delivery functions. Over the past two years, Novatr has supported more than 200 engineers across India and international markets in transitioning into BIM-enabled roles, with learners recording an average salary increase of 36%.
The report also notes rising industry demand for BIM-skilled professionals, with infrastructure consultancies, EPC firms, and digital engineering organisations such as The BIM Engineers, Techture, ECOMS, Brick & Bolt Home Construction, One Click BIM, BIM Studio, Metaguise, and BIM Tree recruiting graduates from Novatr’s civil engineering programs. Major hiring hubs include Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi NCR, and Chennai, while opportunities are also expanding across Tier-II infrastructure cities driven by highways, industrial parks, and smart city projects.
Commenting on the findings, Harkunwar Singh said, “Civil engineering is undergoing a structural shift. BIM and digital delivery are no longer optional and are becoming foundational to how infrastructure projects are planned and executed. At Novatr, we focus on enabling engineers to move beyond traditional roles and build future-ready capabilities that support long-term career growth.”
