Procter & Gamble Health Limited’s CSR initiative P&G SEHAT, in partnership with HelpAge India, successfully concluded its ‘Women Care Week’, providing free primary healthcare services to over 10,000 underserved women across 10 locations, including Chennai and other cities nationwide.

The camps offered comprehensive healthcare support to elderly women, pregnant and lactating mothers, and adolescent girls. Services included consultations with specialists, diagnostic screenings such as hemoglobin, blood pressure, and blood sugar tests, along with free medicines and referrals for continued treatment. Awareness sessions on nutrition and access to government healthcare benefits, including Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), were also conducted.

Speaking about the initiative, Milind Thatte said that the program aims to bridge the healthcare access gap in underserved communities by delivering essential services directly to women, while also promoting long-term wellbeing through awareness on nutrition and government health schemes.
