The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), in association with Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), Government of Sharjah, UAE, successfully conducted a focused series of B2B meetings in Chennai to support Indian enterprises in accessing global markets through the UAE.

These meetings were organized with the support of FICCI’s affiliated chambers, Hindustan Chamber of Commerce and the Tamil Chamber of Commerce.

The meetings highlighted trade and investment opportunities across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and Russia. Participants also received insights on international market expansion and how to effectively utilize the India–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to enhance exports and cross-border business  operations.

The initiative provided a strategic platform for regional businesses to understand the advantages of establishing operations in the UAE, particularly through SAIF Zone, recognized as one of the region’s most efficient and investor-friendly free zones.

FICCI remains committed to creating enabling platforms that empower Indian enterprises to expand globally, aligned with India’s growing engagement in international trade and                                   investment.
