DS Group Expands Its Catch Sprinkler Portfolio

Catch Salt & Spices, a brand from the Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), has expanded its Catch Sprinkler portfolio by introducing new-age seasonings and regionally inspired flavours. The new range includes variants like pizza pasta seasoning, chilli flakes, oregano, magic masala, mixed herbs, along with regional flavours such as Jeeravan (Poha Masala) and Podi Masala. These products come in moisture-free HIPS sprinkler containers designed for easy, hygienic, and convenient table-top usage, targeting modern consumers who prefer quick and experimental cooking options.


According to Mr. Sandeep Ghosh, Business Head, Catch Salt & Spices, DS Group, the expansion is driven by evolving consumer behaviour across metros and tier 2 and tier 3 markets. The company aims to build a versatile seasoning platform that combines convenience, quality, and regional taste preferences. Catch is also investing in brand building, innovation, R&D, and digital growth strategies to strengthen its leadership in India’s fast-growing seasoning and spices market.


Founded in 1987, the Catch brand has grown from a table-top salt sprinkler into a wide portfolio spanning over 140 variants and 330 SKUs across nine categories, reaching more than 7 lakh retail outlets through 1500+ distributors. The brand is also leveraging e-commerce and quick commerce platforms for growth, supported by strong marketing campaigns featuring brand ambassador Akshay Kumar and the positioning “Khana Sirf Khana Nahi Hota,” emphasizing the emotional connection with food.
