ICICI Prudential Life Insurance has introduced the ICICI Prudential Life BSE Enhanced Value 30 Index Fund, a new addition to its Unit Linked Insurance Plan (ULIP) offerings aimed at customers seeking long-term wealth creation through value investing.
The fund is designed to provide exposure to companies identified as attractively valued within the BSE Large & Mid-cap universe. It follows a passive investment approach by tracking the ICICI PRU BSE Enhanced Value Index, which selects 30 stocks based on valuation indicators including book value-to-price, earnings-to-price, and sales-to-price ratios.
According to the company, the index uses a transparent and rules-driven methodology while ensuring diversification across sectors and market capitalisation segments. The portfolio undergoes semi-annual review and rebalancing to stay aligned with changing market dynamics and investment opportunities.
Commenting on the launch, Manish Kumar said the fund enables customers to participate in equity markets through a disciplined and structured investment strategy focused on fundamentally strong companies trading at attractive valuations.
The company stated that as of March 30, 2026, the ICICI PRU BSE Enhanced Value Index delivered annualised returns of 32% over three years, 28.9% over five years, and 19.4% over ten years.
The fund will be available through select ULIP products including ICICI Pru Signature Assure and Smart Insurance Plan Plus (SIP+) with life cover benefits.
