Madurai Productivity Council Holds MSME Development Speaker Meet

Madurai Productivity Council organized its 5th Monthly Speaker Meeting for the year 2025–27 along with the  R. Ramaiah Memorial Award Function on 11 May 2026 at the Council premises, Madurai.


The theme of the meeting was “Government Schemes for MSME Development”, which focused on various initiatives, subsidies, support systems and opportunities available for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises through Government departments and agencies.


The guest speaker for the programme  S. Ganesan, Joint Director of DIC Madurai who delivered a special address on Government support schemes and developmental opportunities for MSMEs in Tamil Nadu.


As part of the memorial event, prize distribution for the Workers Essay Competition conducted in memory of  R. Ramaiah was also held. The competition had been organized on the topic “Growth in Industrial Development Depends on the Productivity Improvement of Workers.” Winners of the competition received awards and certificates during the function.


The programme was conducted in remembrance of  R. Ramaiah in recognition of his valuable contributions and service to society.


Office bearers of the Council including Dr. M. Jegan Mohan, K. M. Krishna Moorthy and D. Chandran welcomed industrialists, entrepreneurs, MSME representatives, professionals, students, workers and members of the Council, who participated in the programme and benefited from the session.
