In accordance with the directives of the Government of Tamil Nadu, grievance redressal meetings are conducted every Monday at the District Collectorate to receive petitions from the public, conduct necessary inquiries, and provide eligible beneficiaries with government welfare assistance. These meetings are usually chaired by the District Collector.
During today's session, a total of 515 petitions were received from members of the public. District Revenue Officer Mrs. R. Jeyabharathi instructed the concerned departmental officials to examine the petitions promptly and take swift action on all eligible requests.
The meeting was attended by Additional Personal Assistant (Land) to the District Collector Shahjahan, Special Deputy Collector (Social Security Scheme) Henry Peter, District Supply and Consumer Protection Officer V. Prabhakar, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Officer Justin Santhappa, Social Welfare Officer S. Collins Selvarani, along with several other government officials.
