Chennai Bulls have powered their way into the final of the inaugural Women’s Rugby Premier League 2026, scheduled to be played on June 23 at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad. Led by captain Chantelle Miell, the team finished at the top of the league table after five matches, becoming the first side to secure a place in the title clash. Miell credited the squad’s hard work and resilience, expressing confidence that the team is refreshed and ready to lift the trophy.
Amandeep Kaur said the entire squad is excited about reaching the final and remains focused on achieving its ultimate goal of becoming the league’s first-ever champions. Chennai Bulls’ success has been driven by the performances of international stars Chantelle Miell, Adia Pyke, Carmen Izyk and vice-captain Savannah Bauder, while Indian players Amandeep Kaur and Sandhyarani Tudu have also played pivotal roles, earning multiple Player of the Match awards. The team also overcame the setback of losing senior Indian player Sandhya Rai earlier in the season.

The side registered draws against Delhi Redz and Mumbai Dreamers, suffered their only defeat against Kolkata Banga Tigers, and then bounced back with an impressive winning streak over Delhi Redz, Kolkata Banga Tigers and Mumbai Dreamers. Having defeated all three rival teams before the final, Chennai Bulls head into the championship match with significant momentum and confidence.
