The birthday of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, the Erode City District Traders’ Wing of the Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam organized a free public medical camp on Periyar Nagar 80 Feet Road in Erode.
Minister Vijay Balaji inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon and lighting the ceremonial lamp, after which he personally underwent a medical check-up. The event was attended by MLA Anand Mohan, District Joint Secretary Akim, Deputy Secretary Prakash, former Councillor Jaffer Sadiq, and several other administrators.
The camp provided medical services to about 500 people, including eye examinations, dental check-ups, cancer screening, and treatment for various ailments. Doctors from Erode Cancer Centre, Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Metibase Multi-Speciality Hospital, and Kalyani Kidney Care offered consultations and treatment to the public.
The arrangements for the camp were made by Sathes Kumar, Organizer of the Erode City District Traders’ Wing of the Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam.
