The 2026–2027 New Students’ Day was celebrated at Grace Polytechnic College in Mullakkadu, Thoothukudi. The programme was inaugurated in the presence of the college principal, Jose Sajikumar.
The event was attended by Joshua, Chairman of the Grace Educational Group, Vice-Chairman Stephen, Engineering College Principal Siddharthan, Administrative Officer Dinakaran, and Vinoth.
During the programme, newly admitted students and their parents were introduced to the college’s rules and regulations. Detailed presentations were also made on the various academic departments, their special features, and the career and employment opportunities available to students after completing their courses.
The event witnessed the participation of first-year students admitted for the academic year 2026–2027, along with students admitted directly into the second year, their parents, and faculty members.
To ensure the comfort of participants, the college arranged transportation facilities and provided lunch to all those who attended the function.
The programme served as an orientation session aimed at helping new students familiarize themselves with the institution, its academic environment, and future career prospects.
