The two-day ‘Tamizhar 4.0’ Business and Trade Conference, organised by the Confederation of Tamil Agriculture, Commerce, Industry and Services (CTACIS), began today at Hilton Chennai. The conference was inaugurated by the Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and Chief Guest, J.C.D. Prabhakar. More than 500 Tamil entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the world are participating in the conference.
The conference is expected to facilitate more than 100 business networking sessions, meetings and commercial agreements. Entrepreneurs and business leaders from India and several countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and European Union nations, are taking part in the event. The conference aims to create opportunities for Tamil entrepreneurs to expand their products and services from one city to other cities across India and into global markets.
The conference features interactive sessions on government schemes, business opportunities, exports and imports, achievers’ insights and women’s leadership. CTACIS Founder Rev. Fr. Jagath Gaspar Raj highlighted the vision behind ‘Tamizhar 4.0’, which represents a new era of Tamil renaissance through economic self-reliance, higher education, global recognition, industry, commerce, knowledge, arts and culture. On July 25, MLAs S. Vijayakumar and P. Revanth Saran will participate as special guests and address the gathering.
