Indel Money Announces ₹500-Crore Public NCD Issue to Strengthen Funding Base

Indel Money Limited, an RBI-registered NBFC-Middle Layer, has announced a public issue of Secured, Rated, Listed and Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of face value ₹1,000 each, aggregating up to ₹500 crore.


The issue will open on August 18, 2026, and close on August 31, 2026, with an option for early closure, subject to applicable approvals. The issue comprises a ₹250-crore base issue and a Green Shoe Option of up to ₹250 crore. The minimum application size is ₹10,000 across all series collectively, followed by multiples of ₹1,000.


The net proceeds will primarily support onward lending and financing or refinancing of existing debt, including repayment or prepayment of borrowings and debt servicing. The balance may be utilised for general corporate purposes, subject to applicable regulatory requirements.


Mr. Umesh Mohanan, Whole Time Director, Indel Money, said the company remains optimistic about investor response, supported by the encouraging participation in its earlier NCD issues. He said the fundraise would further strengthen the company’s capital position and enable it to meet growing credit requirements while supporting its long-term expansion plans.


Indel Money recorded an AUM of ₹4,103.90 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared with ₹2,334.44 crore in FY25. During FY26, the company reported total income of ₹605.96 crore and profit after tax of ₹123.97 crore, with net worth at ₹631.77 crore.


The company’s GNPA stood at 1.65%, NNPA at 1.30% and Tier I Capital Adequacy Ratio at 18.95%.


As of June 30, 2026, Indel Money operated 397 branches across 12 states and four Union Territories, serving customers primarily in rural and semi-urban markets.
