The partnership is intended to bring academic learning closer to the needs of industry landscape. Through knowledge sharing, practical projects, internships and interaction with industry professionals, students will have opportunities to understand how concepts learnt in the classroom are applied to real business and technology challenges.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sanjeev Agarwal, Managing Director & CEO, Protiviti Member Firm for the Middle East & India Regions, said, “Strong industry–academia partnerships are essential to preparing young professionals for the workplace, and hence we have launched this AI Center of Excellence today. Students will benefit most when their academic learning is complemented by exposure to real business scenarios, experienced practitioners and practical projects. Our collaboration with PSG iTech gives us an opportunity to bring our industry experience into the academic environment and create meaningful opportunities for students to learn, experiment and develop their capabilities. Through the AI Centre of Excellence, we aim to bridge academic learning with practical industry experience, helping students build the skills, industry exposure and broader perspective they need to contribute meaningfully to India’s fast-growing AI and digital economy.”

Dr. N. Saravanakumar, Principal, PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, said, “At PSG iTech, we believe that meaningful industry engagement can add significant value to academic learning. This partnership will give our students greater exposure to practical applications, industry expectations and real-world projects, while also creating opportunities for research and knowledge exchange. We look forward to working closely with Protiviti and InsightVerge to build a stronger bridge between the classroom and the workplace”.
