Access Life Assistance Foundation – Coimbatore Centre observed International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by organizing a special awareness programme at Lotus Temple – Light of Truth Universal Shrine, Chettipalayam, Coimbatore. The programme was held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and brought together children undergoing cancer treatment, parents, caregivers, volunteers, supporters and well-wishers.
The programme was organized to create greater awareness about childhood cancer and to share a message of hope, courage, love and solidarity with children battling cancer and their families. The gathering also highlighted the importance of emotional support, community participation and continued care for families during their cancer treatment journey.
The programme received valuable support from CIRCOR Flow Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. and its team, Cognizant volunteers, S.K. Social Trust and Lotus Temple – Light of Truth Universal Shrine. The participation of these organizations and volunteers added meaningful support to the awareness initiative.
Mr. Ramji Sethuramalingam and the CIRCOR team extended their valuable volunteering support as part of the programme. CIRCOR also provided vehicle support for the participating children and families, helping ensure a safe and comfortable journey to and from the programme venue. The thoughtful involvement of the team contributed to making the event a meaningful experience for the families supported by Access Life.
Speaking about the initiative, M. Jenitha, Centre Manager, Access Life Assistance Foundation – Coimbatore Centre, said that awareness programmes provide an opportunity for the community to better understand the challenges faced by children with cancer and their families and to come together with compassion and support. She also expressed gratitude to all the volunteers, organizations and well-wishers who contributed to the programme.
