Dr. Raja Vasantham of Meenakshi Mission Hospital addressed the participants on the health benefits and precautions of blood donation and encouraged students and staff to come forward and donate blood. Mr. Rajkumar, Road Safety Member, along with his team, appreciated the efforts and actively volunteered for the camp.
Around 150 participants, including college students and staff, their family members, and external volunteers, took part in the blood donation camp, collectively donating 46 units of blood.
Organized annually, the blood donation camp reflects Lady Doak College’s continued commitment to community service and its efforts to contribute meaningfully to society through student-led extension activities.
