A free guidance and coaching camp for candidates preparing for competitive examinations will be held tomorrow at Thoranamalai Sri Murugan Temple.
Located on the Tenkasi–Kadayam Road, Thoranamalai Sri Murugan Temple is involved not only in spiritual activities but also in educational and various social welfare initiatives. A library named the K. Aadhinarayanan–Chandraleela Memorial Library has been established at the foothills of the temple to support the intellectual development of students.
The temple administration also conducts various coaching programmes to help rural students improve their educational qualifications and employment opportunities. Traditional rural sports and cultural activities are also taught as part of these initiatives.
As part of these efforts, the temple administration, in association with Dr. P. Annamalai IAS Academy, is organising a free guidance and coaching camp for rural candidates preparing for competitive examinations. The camp will be held tomorrow (Sunday) from 9 a.m. at the foothills of Thoranamalai.
Free coaching will be provided for TNPSC Group II, Group IIA and Group IV examinations. The programme will cover the complete syllabus, examination strategies, model tests and analysis of previous years’ question papers. Free online classes will also be conducted subsequently.
The K. Aadhinarayanan–Chandraleela Memorial Library located within the temple premises has a large collection of books for competitive examinations. Facilities are available for students to stay and study, with separate study spaces for male and female students. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are also provided.
Free women’s bus services and mini-bus facilities are available from Alangulam, Tenkasi and Pavoorchatram to facilitate transportation to and from the temple.
Students preparing for competitive examinations have therefore been invited to make use of the free coaching camp and continue their preparation at the library to achieve success in the examinations.
Arrangements for the programme are being made by the temple hereditary trustee Senbagaraman.
