Range Rover, the Original Luxury SUV, has announced the opening of orders for its first-ever fully electric Range Rover in India.

Built at Solihull, the home of Range Rover since 1970, the new Range Rover Electric combines signature luxury, refinement and all-terrain capability with advanced electric propulsion.

Powered by twin 260kW permanent magnet electric motors, it delivers up to 405kW of power and 850Nm of torque.

The SUV accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds, delivering effortless and near-silent performance.

It offers a range of up to 600km (WLTP), enabling most customers to complete their daily journeys without recharging.

Its 118.5kWh double-stacked battery and advanced 800-volt architecture support rapid DC charging.

Using a 350kW rapid DC charger, the vehicle can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in around 22 minutes.

It can also add up to 220km of WLTP range in just 10 minutes when charging at its maximum rate.

Advanced Integrated Traction Management responds in as little as 50 milliseconds, ensuring confident performance across different surfaces.

The vehicle retains Range Rover’s legendary all-terrain capability, including the ability to wade through up to 900mm of water.

Extensive testing covered more than 1.5 million kilometres and over 250,000 hours across virtual and physical environments.

ThermAssist™ heat management technology further enhances range, charging performance and efficiency, including up to 40km of additional range.

More than 300 patent applications have been filed for technologies developed for Range Rover Electric.

In India, the model will be available in multiple specifications, including Autobiography, SV, SV Ultra, SV Black and a curated First Edition.

Orders for Range Rover Electric are now open in India, marking a significant milestone in Range Rover’s journey towards electrification.
