The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India organized a 26-day Aari embroidery training program for women at Pallipalayam near Erode.
The participants were trained in both the fundamental and practical aspects of Aari embroidery. Through this program, they acquired essential technical skills and received guidance on how to transform these skills into self-employment opportunities and income-generating ventures.
The program coordinator, Sankar, inaugurated the valedictory function and explained the key features of the training, government schemes available to the beneficiaries, and various opportunities for entrepreneurial growth. He also emphasized the importance of continuous guidance in starting self-employment ventures using the skills gained.
Pallipalayam 20th Ward Councillor, Saravanan, attended the event as the chief guest and distributed certificates to the women who successfully completed the 26-day training. In his address, he encouraged the participants to convert their newly acquired skills into self-employment initiatives and achieve economic progress.
