Technology enthusiasts gathered at Pondicherry University for a one-of-a-kind workshop called “WEB 3 Sangam'' organised by Sudans Tech and The Phoenix Guild Chennai Chapter in collaboration with the Ramanujan School of Mathematical Sciences and the Department of Computer Science. It was an instant success with over 120 participants coming together to discuss and learn the latest trends in these cutting-edge technologies.
Sudans Tech is J&K’s First Ever Non-Profit Tech organisation that aims to bridge the gap between students and industries and is organising 40 meet-ups across India known as “ Web 3 Sangam” with Pondicherry being the 7th city of this initiative. Web3 Sangam aims to spread knowledge among students about Web3 and blockchain and is sponsored by 5ireChain and Trikon.
The Phoenix Guild is a non-profit global community that focuses on empowering female and non-binary builders in Web3. They work very closely with Web3 protocols and organisations to conduct events like hacker houses, workshops and boot camps to foster their growth in the ecosystem. The Phoenix Guild Chennai chapter is a one-of-a-kind initiative to bring folks across Tamil Nadu to help them take the leap into Web3.
This event introduced blockchain technology and Web3 to the students of various colleges in Puducherry. The meetup featured a variety of talks and presentations from experts in the field. The event also featured a one-to-one discussion, which allowed attendees to ask questions and engage in a lively discussion with the speakers.
