PSGR Krishnammal College for Women join hands with Sustainability and Energy Practitioners Association (SEPA) to host a National Event- “Sustainability India 2023”.
PSGR Krishnammal College for Women is proud to announce its collaboration with the Sustainability and Energy Practitioners Association (SEPA) in organizing a prestigious National event focussing on sustainable energy practices.
Industry and Academia, have started working together to create a technological and demographically inclusive movement that seeks to achieve its aims that are in synchronization with the Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
SEPA is organising a National Event – Sustainability India 2023, comprising a series of Workshops. The Inaugural Workshop is organized at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore on 24th and 25th July 2023. The second Workshop is planned at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad on August 21st and 22nd 2023, the third Workshop is at MIT ADT University, Pune on 25th and 26th September 2023 and the final and culminating workshop is planned at JSS Academy of Technical Education, Noida on 30th and 31st Oct 2023.
The Workshops will feature Technical presentations and Panel discussions on a wide range of issues facing the Renewable Energy domain, particularly Solar Energy and Green Hydrogen, covering Advances in Materials, Technology, Research, Policy Framework, Skill Development and Training.
In tandem with these Workshops, a 3 Level National Solar Competition has also been planned, for Students from Colleges and Universities across the country, to orient their thought processes towards Sustainability and Renewable Energy in general and Solar in particular.
This National Event will be an Ideal Platform for Industry – Institution interactions and collaborations that will be mutually beneficial, in terms of product and process development, Industrial support and funding for Research.

The event is also supported by National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) Mercom India and Cares Academy. In the context of advancing technologies and developments in the Renewable Energy scenario in the country, SEPA – through this Event - would like to highlight the need for all round efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the importance of advanced research in the development of the nation, through better products and processes.
