The price of M-SAND and P-SAND crushers has gone up drastically affecting the middle class people even though when there is no change in the Petrol and Diesel prices. Till now the cost of per square feet of the building is Rs 2250. This situation will lead the cost of construction per square feet as Rs 2500, so the Tamil Nadu government should intervene and control the price hike of crusher sand immediately, otherwise more than 1,000 engineers, 50 government contractors and three lakh construction workers will be affected especially in Erode district. The increase in the price of crusher sand will be a hindrance to the good intention of the government not to extract the river sand.
