TNAU inks MoU with PAJANCOA & RI

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University an institution of national and international eminence through demanding and futuristic educational programme, research, outreach and agri-business activities. Whereas, the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture and Research Institute (PAJANCOA&RI), Karaikal, an autonomous educational institution by the Government of Puducherry with the prime objectives of imparting agricultural education and meeting the agricultural research and extension needs of the Union Territory. 

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, accredits both the institutes. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture and Research Institute, Karaikal for facilitating Postgraduate Students’ Research. 

Dr.R.TamizhVendan, Registrar, TNAU, Coimbatore and Dr.A.Pouchepparadjou, Dean & Member Secretary (Governing Body), PAJANCOA&RI, Karaikal signed the agreement in presence of Dr.V.Geethalakshmi, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU for opening up new avenues in post graduate research and training. Dr.N.Senthil, Dean (School of Post Graduate Studies) welcomed the gathering and enumerated the importance of this particular collaboration. Dr.S.D.Sivakumar, Professor (ARM) and Technical & Personal Officer to the Vice-Chancellor, TNAU along with Dr.N.Swaminathan, Professor & Head, Department of Agricultural Economics & Extension and Dr.S.Parthasarathi, Professor (Agricultural Extension) of PAJANCOA&RI, Karaikal attended the signing ceremony and graced the occasion.
